Swap Solana to Monero

Send native SOL on Solana and get XMR to your Monero address (4… or 8…). The 32 confirmations take about 10 to 20 seconds, so the swap and payout set the pace. The 0.48% fee sits in the quote; no account or KYC.

Pair details

SOL to XMR at a glance

You send
Native SOL on the Solana network, entered to 6 decimals. Wrapped SOL and Solana stablecoins are other assets in the form.
You receive
XMR on the Monero network, broadcast by Courier after Executor fills the swap.
Payout address
Your Monero wallet's standard address (4…) or a subaddress (8…); an exchange account uses a 106-character integrated address. The BTC to XMR page covers the formats.
Memo or tag
None. No memo is needed for SOL, and XMR goes to the address alone, without a payment ID.
Refund address
Optional, in SOL: a Solana wallet address in Base58, 32 to 44 characters long. Without one, a refund returns to the wallet that sent the SOL.
Limits
Roughly $10 to $10,000,000 in USD value; the form lists the exact limits in SOL.
Rate
Fixed and held for 30 minutes from order creation, or floating and set at execution, with the 0.48% fee included in both.
Typical time
About 10 to 20 seconds for the Solana confirmations; the rest of the usual 5 to 30 minutes is execution and the Monero payout.

Why this route

Why swap SOL to XMR

Every SOL transfer is recorded on Solana's public ledger, where the sending wallet, the recipient and the amount are visible to anyone who looks them up. Swapping to XMR moves that value to Monero, where amounts and recipients are hidden on-chain.

The Solana side barely adds to the clock: 32 confirmations at Solana's slot pace take about 10 to 20 seconds, so the part that sets your total time is execution and the Monero payout. Stablecoins on Solana have their own route, USDC (including on Solana) to XMR, and if you want Bitcoin rather than Monero, see SOL to BTC.

Before you send

SOL, Wrapped SOL and Solana tokens are different assets

One Solana wallet can hold native SOL, Wrapped SOL (WSOL, an SPL token that stands for SOL) and stablecoins such as USDT and USDC. Ghostex lists each of them as its own asset on the Solana network, and this order takes native SOL only. If WSOL or a stablecoin arrives for a SOL order, it is the wrong asset: there is no automatic refund, and recovery may not be possible. If your wallet shows a WSOL balance, unwrap it to SOL before you send.

Fees are paid in SOL. Solana charges a base fee of 5,000 lamports per signature, plus an optional prioritization fee that some wallets add. Keep a small SOL balance beyond the order amount, so the transfer can pay for itself and the exact quoted figure still arrives.

Refunds come back as SOL to a Solana wallet address: Base58 text, 32 to 44 characters. The form checks only that format, and a token mint or program address looks the same, so copy the refund address from your wallet's receive screen rather than from a block explorer.

Fees and timing

SOL to XMR fees and timing

The only Ghostex fee is 0.48% of the SOL you send, and the quote already includes it. Here it is in SOL; the live XMR amount for your figure is in the widget.

~10-20 s deposit wait

Ghostex counts 32 confirmations. The mainnet slot target has been 300 ms since 25 August 2026 (350 ms from 19 August, 400 ms before), and the finalized level typically lags at least 32 slots behind the newest one.

Monero side

The XMR payout confirms on about 2-minute Monero blocks, and a newly received output stays locked for 10 blocks, roughly 20 minutes, in your wallet.

Who pays which fee

The Solana fee on your deposit comes out of your own SOL and is not refunded. Ghostex covers the network fee on the XMR payout, and it is already reflected in the quote.

Common mistakes

SOL to XMR mistakes to avoid

Wrapped SOL instead of SOL

WSOL is an SPL token, not the native coin. Sent to a SOL order it counts as the wrong asset, with no automatic refund.

Sending the whole balance

If the order amount equals everything in the wallet, nothing is left for the Solana fee and the transfer cannot go out. Hold a little SOL back when you create the order.

A different amount than quoted

A fixed rate holds for the exact SOL figure on your order, sent within 30 minutes. More, less or late, and the swap runs at the market rate or is refunded automatically.

How the order runs. Oracle prices SOL against XMR when you open the order, and you choose a fixed or floating rate. From there Router, Sentinel, Executor and Courier carry it through to the payout; see how the five agents divide the work.

FAQ

Solana to Monero questions

How long does SOL to XMR take?

The Solana deposit clears in about 10 to 20 seconds: 32 confirmations at a 300 ms slot target. Execution and the Monero payout make up most of the rest, and most orders finish within 5 to 30 minutes.

Can I pay with Wrapped SOL?

No. This order takes native SOL only; WSOL is a different asset in the form. WSOL sent to a SOL order is the wrong asset and is not refunded automatically, so unwrap it to SOL in your wallet first.

Do I need to keep SOL for fees?

Yes. Solana charges a base fee of 5,000 lamports per signature, paid in SOL, plus any prioritization fee your wallet adds. Leave a small SOL balance after the deposit amount so the transfer can pay its own fee.

Where does a refund go?

Back to you as SOL on Solana, minus the network cost of sending it: to the refund address you entered, or to the wallet that sent the deposit. Refunds are never made in Monero.

Do I need an account or KYC?

No account and no KYC. Ghostex asks for the SOL amount and your Monero address, nothing about you: no name, email, phone or ID. Automated checks of public chain data can still delay or decline an order tied to a prohibited use, as the Terms explain.
