Dogecoin addresses and deposit fees
Dogecoin encodes its mainnet addresses with version bytes 30 and 22 (Dogecoin chainparams.cpp). That is why a pay-to-public-key-hash address, the ordinary single-key kind, starts with D, and a pay-to-script-hash address starts with A or 9. The refund field accepts both kinds and turns away testnet addresses. Neither kind can receive bitcoin: paste a D, A or 9 address into the payout field and the form replies that it looks like a Dogecoin address and asks for a Bitcoin one.
Your wallet sets the network fee for the DOGE deposit. Dogecoin Core’s recommended default is 0.01 DOGE per kilobyte, and since version 1.14.5 it is charged on the transaction’s exact size, so a 192-byte transaction pays 0.00192 DOGE (Dogecoin Core fee recommendation). The same document sets a 0.01 DOGE dust limit, and the Dogecoin Core wallet refuses outputs below it. Other wallets and exchanges set their own fees. An exchange that lists DOGE on BNB Smart Chain as well as on Dogecoin may default to either. Only the Dogecoin network fills this order; a token on another chain gets no automatic refund.
A withdrawal fee taken from the amount
If the exchange takes its DOGE fee out of the figure you type, less arrives than the order expects, and a fixed rate needs the exact amount. Set the withdrawal so that the amount arriving matches the quote.
A Lightning invoice that runs out
Under BOLT 11, an invoice without its own expiry lasts one hour, and the 20 Dogecoin confirmations use a third of that. Send the DOGE soon after creating the order, or receive to a Lightning address instead.
