ETHEthereum BNBBNB Smart Chain

Swap Ethereum to BNB

Send ETH on Ethereum mainnet and receive native BNB on BNB Smart Chain, the coin that pays gas there, at your 0x address. Ghostex waits for 12 Ethereum confirmations, about 2.4 minutes. The 0.48% fee is inside the quote, and there is no account or KYC.

  • No KYC
  • No account
  • 0.48% flat fee
  • Automatic refunds

Pair details

ETH to BNB at a glance

Both sides use the same 0x address format. That makes the form quick to fill in and easy to get wrong, so the network behind each address matters more than the address itself.

You send
ETH on Ethereum mainnet. ETH on BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum One, Base, Optimism or zkSync Era is a separate asset in the form, not this one.
You receive
Native BNB on BNB Smart Chain (Ghostex code BSC), the coin that pays gas there. Not WBNB, and not BNB on opBNB.
Payout address
A 42-character 0x address that is yours on BNB Smart Chain. Lowercase is accepted; a mixed-case address must pass its EIP-55 checksum.
Memo or tag
None. Native ETH and BNB transfers carry no memo, so the form does not ask for one.
Refund address
Optional, in 0x format. A refund returns as ETH on Ethereum, minus the network cost of sending it, to this address or to the one you paid from.
Limits
About $10 to $10,000,000 in USD value; the form shows the exact range in ETH.
Rate
Fixed for 30 minutes from order creation, or floating and priced when the swap executes. Both include the 0.48% fee.
Typical time
5 to 30 minutes for most orders. The 12 Ethereum confirmations take about 2.4 minutes; BNB Smart Chain then adds a block every 0.45 seconds.

How it works

Gas for BNB Smart Chain in three steps

  1. 1. Copy a BNB Smart Chain address

In your wallet, switch the network to BNB Smart Chain and copy the 0x address it shows. For an exchange account, open its BNB deposit page with BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) selected.

  2. 2. Send ETH from Ethereum

Enter the ETH amount, paste the address and pick a fixed or floating rate. Then send the exact amount on your order from Ethereum mainnet; Sentinel counts 12 confirmations.

  3. 3. Spend the BNB on gas

Courier sends native BNB to your address. From there it pays the fee for any BNB Smart Chain transaction, including BEP-20 token transfers.

Use case

Why swap ETH to BNB

Every transaction on BNB Smart Chain is paid for in BNB (BNB Chain documentation), and that includes sending a BEP-20 token such as USDT. A wallet that holds tokens there but no BNB can receive them and cannot move them. When the rest of your money sits on Ethereum, this order turns part of it into native BNB at the address that needs it, without a detour through an exchange account.

The amount needed for gas is small. BNB Chain’s own overview gives typical fees of around $0.005 or less at its standard gas price of 0.05 gwei, so an order near the roughly $10 minimum covers many transfers. Gas prices change, so check the estimate in your wallet before you rely on a number. Larger orders work the same way if you want to hold BNB rather than spend it on fees.

With BNB in place you can send your tokens on, or move BEP-20 USDT to Tron with the USDT BEP20 to TRC20 swap. That order is paid in USDT, but the transfer out of your wallet still needs BNB for its gas, which is where this one comes in.

Addresses

One 0x address on both chains, with two exceptions

An ordinary wallet account, one controlled by a private key or seed phrase, gets its address from its public key: the last 20 bytes of the key’s Keccak-256 hash, with 0x in front (ethereum.org). BNB Smart Chain is fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine and derives addresses the same way. The address your wallet shows on Ethereum is therefore also yours on BNB Smart Chain, controlled by the same key, and in a self-custody wallet you can paste it as both the BNB payout and the ETH refund.

Two kinds of 0x address break that rule. A smart-contract wallet, such as a multisig, is a contract deployed to one network and controlled by code rather than a key, so its address on another chain is not automatically yours; check that the wallet exists on BNB Smart Chain before you use it as the payout. The other is an exchange deposit address. An exchange credits deposits only on the networks it lists for that address, and one copied from its ETH (ERC20) page may not credit BNB that arrives on BNB Smart Chain.

The payout field checks that an address is well formed, and that is all it can check: any valid 0x string passes. A payout cannot be recalled once it is broadcast (Terms, section 11), so the network check is yours to make.

Before you send

Which ETH pays, and which BNB arrives

Multi-chain wallets often show more than one balance labelled ETH. This order takes ether on Ethereum mainnet only, the coin that pays Ethereum gas itself. ETH on BNB Smart Chain is a BEP-20 token that tracks ether, and Ghostex lists it as a separate asset with its own 15-confirmation rule, as it does ETH on Arbitrum One, Base, Optimism and zkSync Era. Sending any of those to this order is a different asset on the wrong network: automatic refunds do not apply, and recovery is not guaranteed (Terms, section 12). The guide to wrapped and native crypto explains the difference.

The payout is native BNB, the coin BNB Smart Chain charges its fees in. WBNB is a BEP-20 token that wraps BNB, and BNB on opBNB sits on a separate layer 2 network; the form lists both as other assets, so choose one of those if an app asks for it. The old BEP2 version of BNB no longer exists, and the BNB to XMR page covers its retirement.

Fees and timing

ETH to BNB fees and timing

The 0.48% fee is taken from the ETH you send and is already inside the quote; the live BNB amount appears in the form.

Fee on this pair: 0.48% of the ETH you send
You send0.48% fee, inside the quote
0.05 ETH0.00024 ETH
0.5 ETH0.0024 ETH
5 ETH0.024 ETH

About 2.4 minutes on Ethereum

12 confirmations × 12-second Ethereum slots. This is the longer leg of the order.

0.45 seconds per BSC block

The BNB lands on a chain that has produced a block every 0.45 seconds since the Fermi hard fork of 14 January 2026.

Who pays which fee

Your wallet pays the Ethereum gas for the deposit, in ETH; it goes to the network, is not refunded and is not part of the 0.48%. Ghostex covers the BNB Smart Chain fee for sending your payout, already reflected in the quote.

Pitfalls

ETH to BNB mistakes to avoid

Paying with the BEP-20 ETH

A wallet with two ETH balances may pick the one on BNB Smart Chain. That token is the wrong asset for this order and is not refunded automatically. Choose Ethereum as the sending network.

A payout address from the wrong exchange page

An exchange’s ERC20 deposit address is a valid 0x string, so the form accepts it, but the exchange may not credit BNB sent there on BNB Smart Chain. Use its BNB (BEP20) deposit page.

An exchange withdrawal that arrives short

If the exchange deducts its fee from the ETH you type, less arrives than the order expects. A fixed rate needs the exact amount, sent within 30 minutes; any other amount runs at the market rate or is refunded automatically.

Five agents on one order. Oracle quotes ETH against BNB, Router picks the route, Sentinel counts the 12 Ethereum confirmations, Executor makes the swap and Courier sends the BNB (meet the five). A fixed rate shows the exact BNB amount before you send and holds it for 30 minutes; a floating rate settles at the market price when the swap executes. On a $20 top-up, a 1% price move is 20 cents; on a large order, the fixed figure removes the guesswork.

FAQ

Ethereum to BNB questions

Can I use one 0x address for the BNB payout and the ETH refund?

Yes, if it belongs to an ordinary self-custody wallet: the same key controls that address on Ethereum and on BNB Smart Chain. Do not reuse an exchange deposit address or a smart-contract wallet address this way unless you have checked that it works on both networks.

How long does ETH to BNB take?

Most orders finish in 5 to 30 minutes. Ghostex waits for 12 Ethereum confirmations, about 2.4 minutes at 12-second slots; the BNB then arrives on BNB Smart Chain, which adds a block every 0.45 seconds.

Is the payout BNB or WBNB?

Native BNB on BNB Smart Chain, the coin that pays gas there (Ghostex code BSC). WBNB and BNB on opBNB are separate assets in the form.

Can I pay with ETH that is already on BNB Smart Chain?

Not on this order. ETH on BNB Smart Chain is a BEP-20 token and a separate Ghostex asset. Sent here, it is a different asset on the wrong network and gets no automatic refund.

Where does a refund go?

Back to Ethereum as ETH, minus the network cost of sending it: to your refund address, or to the address you paid from. Paying from an exchange? Add a 0x refund address from your own wallet.

Do I need an account or KYC?

No. The order needs the ETH amount, a 0x payout address and, if you want, a refund address. There is no account to create, and no name, email, phone or ID is asked for.
